Our Merchandise Campaign and Fundraising in the Digital Age

In order to raise more for our donation efforts, we decided to take a different approach on the simple and traditional methods of fundraising that we previously discussed in another post (bake sale, etc.). The reason that they are so popular and still exist are because they truly work. Everyone passing by a table full of cookies would love to buy one, and it only makes it more sweet that proceeds are going to charity. However, nowadays society has a different dynamic. Most people browse and purchase items online rather than heading to a physical location (other than groceries, which why having a bake sale in front of a grocery store is effective), which is why we decided to launch a merchandise campaign online. Using Bonfire, we have set profit goals where for every 20 shirts that are bought, we will donate one instrument to underprivileged children. You can buy one here:
